Summary
● Type WRA-1 High-efficiency Water-reducing Additive for high-strength cement and concrete, is a kind of special additive that can effectively reduce water requirement and improve performances of cement or concrete products. And it can effectively improve flow property and strength values of cement or concrete. Also named High-range Water reducing admixture, Superplasticizer, Water reducer, Water-reducing Agent.
● Compared with other types of water reducers, WRA-1 High-efficiency Water-reducing Additive has better activity, and is more fit for all types of cement and concrete. And it has good performances of adsorption and dispersion.
● Compared with traditional melamine type water-reducing additive, on the condition of the same quantity mixed, Type WRA-I High-efficiency Water-reducing Additive can increase water-reducing ratio 15%-20%, can make concrete compressive strength (1d) increase 45% to 100% in the age at 20oC. And the impermeability of concrete also is obviously raised. After mixing type WRA-I Additive into the concrete, compared with mixing traditional melamine type Water-reducing Additive, the viscosity of concrete slurry is smaller, solid content is higher, and it is more better for construction, keeping-water and fluidity.
● Type WRA-1 High-efficiency Water-reducing Additive also has the common characteristics like traditional melamine type Water-reducing Additive, for example non air-entrainment, good steam-cured adaptability, no slow-setting action for cement, no rusting and corroding for reinforcing steel bar, innocuity, no pollution. Type WRA-1 High-efficiency Water-reducing Additive can be used in making permeability resisting concrete, high strength concrete, flowing concrete and fire-proof concrete.

● Reinforcing strength of cement and concrete products
● High Water Reduction Ratio and Obvious Strength Increase: after mixing Water-reducing Reinforcing Additive, Water Reduction Ratio can reach 20% to 30%. It can make compressive strength (at 1d) increase 45% to 100% in the age at 20oC, can reach 70% of compressive strength (28d) of benchmark concrete within 3 days, can increase compressive strength (at 28d) 30 to 50%.
● After mixing Type WRA-I High-efficiency Water-reducing Additive, the performances of tensile strength, breaking strength, permeability resisting, frost resistant, capability of bonding steel bar and carbonization resisting, all are improved effectively.
● When type WRA-1 Water-reducing Additive is used in steam-cured concrete, the demolded strength of concrete can be increased 40% or more. After concrete is steam-cured, the compressive strength at 28d can be increased about 20%, and the steaming period can be reduced 1/3 or the steam-cured temperature can be lowered about 20oC.
When using Water-reducing Additive, and not increase the quantity of mixing water, the slump constant of concrete can be increased from 2-5cm to 15-25cm and the strength does not fall.
● Water-reducing Additive has strong applicability to multifarious cement, for example Portland Cement series, Calcium Aluminate Cement (Refractory Cement), Calcium Sulfoaluminate Cement, etc. Especially, when using Water-reducing Additive into Calcium Aluminate Cement to make refractory concrete or castables, it will obviously increase the concrete strength at high temperature.
● No adverse effects on the shrinkage of concrete.

Usage
● Recommended Added Quantity: 0.5% to 1.0% of cement by weight for normal concrete, 0.8-1.2% of cement by weight for high strength concrete
● The final used quantity must be confirmed as per performance request of mortar or concrete, and different rate and change of mixing materials, and different production and construction condition; the test result in labs will be as the final used data.
● When batches of cement and type WRA-I are changed, for the new exact added quantity, the trial in labs must be done again.
● Temperature of working room and mixing water: normal temperature; if the temperature of working room or mixing water is lower or for getting faster hardening and demoulding effect, it is the best to improve the temperature of working room or adjust mixing water temperature to 50℃-60℃, but the highest water temperature not more than 60℃.
● Mixing Process: first to mix type WRA-I in dry together with other mixers to even, then to add mixing water and continue to mix to even, recommended mixing time in dry and wet not less than 3 minutes.
Must reducing W/C rate than normal cement mortar and concrete without Water-reducing Agent.
● The used quantity of Water-reducing Reinforcing Additive must be calculated exactly.
● It can be allowed to directly mix Water-reducing Additive into the mixing water of mortar and concrete and mix to even, then put the solution into the dry materials that has been mixed.
● After demoulding, the cement products must be cured in wet.
● Blocked or wetted cement can not be allowed to use again.
Transport, Storage and Package
● Transport:
Classification for conveyance - not required. During the transportation of a large of amount of batteries by ship, trailer or railway, do not leave them in the places of high temperatures and do not allow to exposed to moisture. During the transportation do not allow the packages to be fallen down or damaged.
● Storage:
To be stored in intact sacks in cool dry and ventilative storehouse, and to avoid high temperature and sunlight. If the sack open, it should be use soon to avoid to be damaged.
